Community Standards/Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy explains the rules and standards that all users must follow when using Merch Pocket.

By using the platform, you agree not to misuse the Services or engage in activities that violate this policy, applicable laws, or the rights of others.

Merch Pocket may take action, including content removal, account suspension, or permanent bans, if users violate these rules.

2. Prohibited Activities

Users may not use Merch Pocket to engage in illegal, harmful, or abusive activities, including but not limited to:

• Fraudulent services or deceptive practices

• Impersonating another person, brand, or company

• Selling services that promote scams or misleading offers

• Attempting to bypass platform payment systems

• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users

• Spamming messages or sending unsolicited promotions

• Attempting to hack, exploit, or disrupt the platform

Any activity that violates local, national, or international law is strictly prohibited.

3. Intellectual Property Violations

Users must respect intellectual property rights.

The following content is not allowed:

• Copyrighted material without permission

• Trademarked logos or brand assets without authorization

• Pirated or stolen digital content

• Designs that copy or closely imitate another creator’s work

Examples include selling designs using logos from major brands, celebrities, sports teams, or companies without proper rights.

If a valid copyright complaint is received, Merch Pocket may remove the content and take action against the responsible account.

4. Restricted Content

The following types of services or content are not permitted on Merch Pocket:

• Illegal products or services

• Adult or explicit content

• Hate speech or discrimination

• Violence, harassment, or abusive content

• Gambling or illegal betting services

• Malware, hacking tools, or exploit services

• Services intended to manipulate reviews, ratings, or engagement

Merch Pocket may remove such content without prior notice.

5. Platform Abuse

Users may not attempt to abuse or manipulate the platform, including:

• Creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions

• Artificially inflating reviews or ratings

• Manipulating search rankings or marketplace visibility

• Attempting to exploit bugs, system errors, or vulnerabilities

Any attempt to interfere with the normal operation of the platform may result in account termination.

6. Off-Platform Transactions

Users must conduct payments and transactions through the Merch Pocket platform.

Buyers and Sellers are not allowed to:

• Request payment outside the platform

• Share payment details to bypass platform fees

• Move a transaction off-platform to avoid escrow protection

This rule protects both parties and ensures dispute protection.

7. Reporting Violations

If users encounter content or activity that violates this policy, they may report it through the platform or contact our support team.

8. Enforcement

Merch Pocket may take action against users who violate this policy, including:

• Content removal

• Gig or service suspension

• Account warnings

• Temporary suspension

• Permanent account termination

In serious cases, Merch Pocket may also cooperate with law enforcement or legal authorities.

9. Policy Updates

Merch Pocket may update this Acceptable Use Policy periodically to reflect platform changes, legal requirements, or new security practices.

Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised policy.
