Buyer Guidelines
Effective Date: March 2026
1. Placing Orders
Buyers should carefully review a service listing before placing an order.
When placing an order, Buyers should:
-
Provide clear instructions and requirements
-
Respond to Seller questions when necessary
-
Review the delivered work before marking the order as completed
Clear communication helps ensure successful project delivery.
2. Respectful Communication
Buyers must communicate respectfully with Sellers.
The following actions are not permitted:
-
Harassment, threats, or abusive language
-
Spamming or repeated unnecessary messages
-
Requesting work that was not included in the original order
Professional communication helps maintain a fair marketplace environment.
3. Revisions
If revisions are included in the service listing, Buyers may request revisions according to the terms specified in the listing.
Revision requests must relate to the original service requirements.
Requests for additional work beyond the agreed scope may require a new order or additional service add-ons.
4. Disputes
If an issue occurs during an order, both Buyers and Sellers may open a dispute before the project is marked as completed.
During a dispute:
-
Funds remain held in escrow
-
Merch Pocket may review the situation
-
A decision may be made to resolve the dispute fairly
5. Payments and Refunds
Merch Pocket retains a 3% platform fee from buyers for marketplace operations, payment processing, and platform maintenance.
All payments must be completed through the Merch Pocket platform.
Buyers should not request or send payments outside the platform.
If an order is canceled before completion or enters a dispute, the funds will remain held in escrow until the dispute is resolved and a final decision is made.
6. Account Use
Buyers must use the platform responsibly.
Accounts may be restricted if users:
-
Abuse the dispute system
-
Attempt to bypass the payment system
-
Engage in fraudulent activity
-
Violate platform policies
